Recently bought a Viper 5900 and am somewhat new to the install process. I successfully installed a Clifford IG750 w/ SW4 but never got the IS4 to work properly. I have since then sold that alarm and gone for the 2way paging choice still sticking w/ DEI.

My question is, will I need to hookup the Viper's module factory arm/disarm wires to work the RS feature of this alarm? I have a PKU-GM bypass for my 04 Grand Prix and will be "attempting" to properly install that along w/ the alarm. The bypass for the RS is the only thing I am weary of considering the instructions state it is a one-shot deal and can only be programmed once. Any helpful tips or tricks would be much appreciated. I know DEI overdoes it w/ alarm features and so forth but are these wires really necessary for my RS to work?

Thanks for your help.
