the thing is that they use very good caps... and they use very beefy custom made mosfets that are sometimes twice the size of a regular mosfet n channel.... those are alil expesinve transfer alot of power and wont waste heat too much |

The first amp i ever had was was like USA or American Power or somthing.... its guts didnt even take up 1\8th of the heat sink... didnt do much power but it ran fine for me running it at .5 ohm not knowing about systems at the time... conecting 4 12' DVC4ohm subs to a 2ch amp bridged... hahaha I threw the amp away after i got a "real" amp lol |

Take a mental note of the pictures. That's what some crooks are/did with JL amps. Gut out the insides and put in something like that, then sell for 50% or less below dealer cost. |
