I asked why this one guy was running with his sub at World finals on Saturday and the one guy that was running Fi at World Finals blew up his subs and was scrambling to get things going again. They were BTLs too. Then Bob Perillo who bass races in the 150-160 class said "BTLs suck",it was pretty funny.Bob runs 90,000 RMS on a ton of T3 subs.Such a sick van.

Over-all Fi is a good product but I'd go with DD and pay the extra money in a second. That's just the second time I heard of someone competing and blowing up their Fi subs.Same thing with DD though,I heard someone blew up some 99 series but I didn't hear how it happened. It could have been user error or just the product itself,it's hard to tell with car audio at times.I wonder if Fi will start making amplifiers :-)

rob, i dont know if that smiley face means you know something or not but i do know scott has posted here saying that Fi will not make any amps due to the fact they have a long lasting relationship with kicker and highly recommend their amps for Fi subs....

Instead of BLs I'd run the 3500 series or maybe even some Audique HDC3s.

I highly doubt that Konaki's build quality is as good as DD's or Audioque's.

konaki subs are a small step above the pioneer, sony they look good voice coils melt on a good amp,and they are owned by 7elephants.com who imports cheap chineese products.
