Leaning towards a cleansweep but a line out is soo much cheaper :-)

Looking on running my factory h/u .. eventually will be running an amp for my highs and of course one for my lows

would a cleansweep be my best bet or just go with a line out for the sub amp and high input the mid/high amp with an external x-over

or is there another option? factory h/u can't be changed so im looking for options

2005 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT .. the only one for it is for the Manual Control AC .. I've got the Digital one that don't have the 3 knobs seeing its all electronic.

Its one piece, the 6disc cd changer and electronic climate control. There is a whole new interface for it, but I'd rather not spend $400 just to change a h/u lol

Well...Cleansweeps are known to work very nice and offer good SQ.Most LOCs offer a dull signal.

There any alternatives to the JL cleansweep? seems pricey.. i know alpine was working on one that auto-set your staging with a mic.. not sure if its done yet

all these options seem pricey lol :-( ... they make it a pain to use the factory h/u and a paind to not use it..

for the money i could buy another h/u but then im stuck on mounting..

anyone know where i can get one for a good deal .. im in need :-)

post a pic of your dash, maybe you can put in an aftermarket unit and then leave your stock, if you have room to put it somewhere.
