how much would it be to send a zx750.1 to kicker and have it repaired??...every time i turn the gain up it just cuts out and protection light turns on...rough estimate on the cost would be very appreciated... |

u sure ur amp needs repairs ?
could be the ohm load ur speaker\s is wired to is too low or u have the gain turned up too high ...... |

the load was wired down to one ohm but then took it off which MIGHT have done the damage but the gain wasnt even half way up... |

The problem is that you need to learn how to properly set a gain.It doesn't mean anything that you set the gain to less than half or all the way up or all the way down,that tells us nothing.Do you know how much voltage is being sent into the amplifier?Before you do anything with that amp you should learn how to properly set gains and then see if you still have a problem. |
