I have a viper 500+ on a 1990 nissan pathfinder. Was already there when I received the SUV. Kill switch has been broken. Will crossing the wires that went to the kill switch shut it off? It was turned on when I disconnected the battery cable. I have no remotes and do not use it. I am trying to find out it my starter is bad or if it is the alarm not allowing it to start
