I don't know much about anything right now so i m trying to learn. Say i have my subs hooked up to an amp but nothing else hooked up to the amp. If i get a switch to turn on and off the amp would i still be able to listen to the regular sound without the subs? I wanna know if it would hurt it and if it is possble.

Ik it is probably a dumb question but i have no clue about anything right now.

Thanks

You could do that by putting a switch in the remote wire.

Most headunits have a sub level control though, and you can just turn the subs off with that.

ur amp will only be on when ur deck is on .......
