whenever im in my garage and the engine is off my system works fine. but then when i start my engine n try to drive it goes into protection mode. anybody kno anything that can fix this

If I had to just take a guess...... I would say check the output current from your alternator. Some amplifiers will automatically put themselves in protection if they sense more than 14.4 volts coming from the alternator.

It could also be a spike in the electrical coming from your radio's remote wire. Try hooking it to a toggle switch. Then once the car is running see if you can switch it on.
