wat upman. long time no talk. i need to know if there are any hgih quality midbass drivers that are shallow mount (like less than 2 1/8") that u know of. hopefully under 160 for a set. don't need tweets just mid drivers. thanks bro |

thats a hard one to say. I think most high quality ones run about 2.25in in depth. Maybe JL since they do a little more for the normal consumer. You may want to check around and see if anyone has had some experience with Massive audio. I've heard mixed results so not sure which one to trust since they were reviewed from ppl i don't know. Also there used to be a company that had speakers with the magnets moved up front( inverted) so it was shallow since the magnet wasn't an issue on depth. But I can't remember the name of the company. Those were supposed to be pretty good. |

you could always use an MDF ring behind the speaker to bring it forward a little bit. |
