I need help, I need a amp for two 4ohm clif designs nuclear series that put out 800 watts RMS...Supposedly. I want to get a better amp. I have a 5.0:1 phoenix gold amp but I feel my subs want more power. Which amp do u think i should get. Clarion-dpx11500, phoenix gold-rsd1200.1 or a JBL 1201.1 .Need Help? or should i get a different kind of amp. Or maybe another pg 5.0:1, one amp for each sub. My budget if around $300. |

those jbl's are supposed to be nice. one thing, if a sub is rated for 800 wrms, that means it will handle about that much. it doesn't mean that's what it puts out. but since watts = Joules a second it might be measurable. i dunno. |

yeah thats what i was thinking bout the watts. JBL is a nice brand i might get it or the pg. Never had clarion so i dont know if i can trust it. Any others with opinions??? |

go with JBL, that clarion model is decent, but very similar to the PG in output. |
