I have an Alpine 3342 DSP that I would like to hook up to my Alpine CDA-9883 hu. The CDA has AI-NET hookup and the 3342 does not. Both units have 3 sets of pre-amp outs and the DSP has one set of inputs. First, can this DSP even be used with the CDA hu? If so, where do I connect the RCA's--in the DSP, in the CDA or do I connect splitters and plug them in both? Also, what gets plugged into the "input" on the DSP? The wiring diagram I printed from the Alpine site does not show pre-amp outs on the head unit so it was of no help to me. Would I just be better off using an ERA-G320 with the AI-NET compatible hookups? Thank you.
