I just got a pair of JBL 6 1/2" 2-Way Loud Speaker (GTO627) speakers... i got a 99 civic 2dr....

The fit guide says they will fit.. but they dont seeem to be a perfect fit... how else do i install them?

get a small peice of pretty thin plywood or mdf, cover the existing speaker location in the door with a pice of the wood, then cut out a hole so the new speaker will fit in
