ok guys, i've got a 91 f-150, i have boston acoustic 4x6" speakers in the door, an infinity 8" in a sealed box for mid-bass to upper bass, and a treo ssi 12" sub in a ported box, i'm wanting to upgrade to some 6.5 components as i've heard they will give me a better, fuller sound, my question is whether to mount them in the stock locations, or to put them at the bottom of my doors? any tips you guys/girls could provide will help me tons as i'm new to the car audio scene |

I would try and get a pod for your kickpanel to hold the 6.5. Trucks usually have gobs of room for it. |

Sometimes its hard to flush mount tweeters in trucks. I would try to put them as high up as you can for better soundstaging. |
