So... I have a 15 inch eclipse sub with a 1000 watt jl audio amp. Does anyone know how many watts my sub holds or if I should get another 500 or 1000 watt amp. I'm getting different stories from different people and not knowing anything about car systems, I'm confused. Also, does the size of the wires from the amp to the sub really matter? Should I have the really thick wires? One more thing...does the cd player make any difference in the performance of my system? My system pounds as is but I hear it could be better. I thank anyone that can help me.
