i just hooked up my infinity kappa tweeters to an infinity reference amp and when i turn it up the tweeters are so loud its unbearable... and i dont think that its because the volume is too loud because i turned down the gain on the amp. any suggestions? |

the amp could be clipping
the coils could be shot
the tweeters need an equalizer |

lol, perhaps your crossover is bad. I woudl check the cross over like he said. Is it both of them , or just 1 ? And whats the x-over on ? |
