Which one would be better? I've used JVC before and liked their products. I don't really have any technical expertise in car audio. I would like to buy one soon and am leaning toward the JVC so any comments would help. Thanks

Those two decks are going to be fairly similar as far as features go and as far as sound quality, these are going to be your two main points of interest with those two decks:

Pioneer:
7 Band Graphic EQ
Pre Out Voltage = 4

JVC:
3 Band Parametric EQ
Pre Out Voltage = 5

I'd go Pioneer in this case, based on the EQ, the USB iPod interface option and the fact that I've had nothing but good luck and heard even more good things about Pioneer. I've run the Pioneer 6800 and 5800 and loved them both.
