i'm looking at either the pioneer DEH-4900ib-$180 or the eclipse CD4000 ($200) are there any big differences between the two? which one would be better? is there something else out there that would be better for about the same price range?

get the eclipse, it is superior in its sound reproduction. for an audiophile this is the way to go

in terms of my head unit, and how good somthing sounds is subjective so as long as to you yours sounds better good for you

what about the kenwood excelon x591? it's also $200. it says that it has a USB port in the back (which i like), but was wondering how you can use it if it's in the back?

hey if you can spring another hundred. the sites legit cuz i bought one with an extended 3 year warranty about a month ago. i had a cd4000 before my car got broken into and loved it, sounded awsome. i would say how i like the 7000 but i havent put it in yet because im waiting for a car worthy enough.
