yes thats what detatchable face plate means. you can take off the face plate |

no problem if you still cant get it off go to pioneers website and download the user manual for that model and it will show you how. |

i got the HU and when you turn your car off, about 5 seconds later the face slides down like yuor putting in a cd, all you do is pull the face towards you gently. dont rip it off. and if you dont remove it, it moves back to its regular positionn about 20 seconds later. |
