I just posted this in another forum, but I really need help with this. I live about half the year in Phoenix and the other half in southern California i.e. very hot climates. Will the Hifonics amp be able to handle the two type Rs at 1 ohm without overheating all the time? If not, what would be a better amp for about $250?

That amp will run fine if there is some sort of air flow. And if the gain is set correct.
