I am hoping someone can help me! I have had the same stereo and amp and speakers in my car for about 8 months or so now and had no problems. Over the weekend, however, I started hearing this high pitched noise whenever I was trying to listen to music. It got worse if I accelerated. Can anyone help me figure out where this is coming from and how to stop it?? It is driving me crazy and ruining my trips to work in the morning. I would appreciate any advice you could give! Thanks!!

You're suffering from alternator whine.Try moving your RCA cables that run from your amp away from any other wires and that may solve your problem. You can also try to use some different "Shielded" RCA cables.
