talking about my precious sub that is ...
Well folks my 1 12 Atomic Quatum model 500wrms sub & box has SOLD today this evening 20-05-2007 !!!!!
pix i recently took :
i had put it up on forum in my country a few days ago & today the very 1st person to come by me bought it same time
funny story eh - dude was making plans 3days now to come buy brand new 2 12s kicker compvr from me since he said he had 2 12s pioneer & 2 older compvr b4 so he knows what he buying
so he & 3 other friends comes by me this evening & they asked "so what do u have in the trunk ?" , so i opened it & showed them the killer & they asked if they can hear it .
Well b4 i played it i told the guy "if i play this 4u u might not want those kicker again"
& i let go 2 songs for them with the sub getting 440wrms @ 2ohms from 1 of the chans of a 2 chan Soundstream amp i have
u could see the expression on their faces - lol
1 of the guys telling the others "well its a wagon so it must sound so good !" - i told him lets put it in a 2002 lancer they come with so they will know its not just d vehicle
so they hook it up to a premier 2 chan amp they had & it sounding like poo but i know my sub really well & quickly realised their install wasnt tuned good @ all .
I quickly got 2 long pieces of wire & i said i will power the sub still sitting in their car from the amp in my wagon - when i crank it up the lancer's trunk & spoiler REALLY stated vibrating ALOT since the bass now is hitting hard like in my wagon + the box facing forward so no cabin gain like in my wagon ..... i heard 1 guy saying "thats harder than the 2 pioneer 12s which were there b4 ! " ...
dude just asked me the price , paid & left with it ...... ..

I was just sitting here last night & just like that i had decided to do a 4 10s setup - never had any 10s b4 in my ride
since the new Pioneer TS-W257D2 come out just a few mths ago i had made a box for 1 & that sh*t had ppl thinking it was a 12" b4 they saw it - so since its cheap i'm gonna go bigger & do 4 ! ....this is NOT for any comp but daily driver
So last night i did the box plans & was already working on it today b4 the atomic sold ! (who knew my atomic would have been sold today ! - just so happens the $ i got from my atomic sale will fully cover cost of these 4 subs)
trunk in my wagon is 44" wide so i'm making 2 boxes since 1 long box with 4 subs gonna tough to lift in\out by myself......manage to complete 1 box tonight - finished around 8.00pm ......pix will be up when i'm done ......
will test it tomor & see if i like it then will work on d 2nd box ... |

hey Jesse when i got my premier 3002 , by the 2nd wk when it began to break in - the rear hatch door lock became loose & dropped off into the inner panel by itself (BASS !) - i havent put it back on since i kinda like that so no thief can pick any lock now - lol ....... |

i tested my new 2 10s pioneer in a box i built yesterday & i will say its about even or possibly louder than the atomic - today i reworked the port area a lil bit more so glue is now drying overnight & i'll test again tomorrow
imagine the (((((((BOOOOOM))))))) when i get all 4 10s setup - i might go all insane & do 8 10s..... |
