so what voltage am i looking for when setting the gain the dmm way??? amp = 750 rms 1 channel subs take 300 rms each |

you are not looking at your headunits power output you need to know your headunits rca voltage output. what kind of HU do you have? |

o....sry i dont know the rca power output....old jvc hu, can i measure the output with a dmm? and with the subwoofertools it says 34.6 or so volts.....if i set it at that i get clipping so idk what to set it to |

per manual....for hu line-out/level output: 2.0volt/2kohm load (full scale) is that what you were looking for? |

WTF are you people talking about. You do not need to know anything about the HU preout voltage. All you need to know is the RMS power rating of your amplifier at the impedance (ohms) that you are running it. |

okay...but the subs arent rated to handle all of that power so should i use the rms power rating of the subs....300 x 2 = 600watts rms?? |

atm i run 1 subwoofer in my car. with one amp. i want to run 2 subwoofers now that are both 1300 watts each instead of having 2 amps is there one amp that will power them both n how much are they n where they from ? as i cba wireing up 2 amps as ive been told that its hard work. and halfords wont do it for me |
