It has went into protection mode, now it won't come back on! I know that the guy must have had the subs wired wrong cuz the +side of the speaker connector on the amp is melted a little! He has been running 2 of the JBL 1222'S 12"and I didn't get to see them wired up! Is the amp ruint???? Thanks |

if its in protection mode it might not be ruined. but if the wire is burnt you could have fried the amp. try rewiring it yourself and see if it works. |

if the speaker output connection is burned I wonder if there isn't a blown output transistor or two. People often talk about replacing them like it's no big deal, but I've never done it myself. |
