WELL MY PHOENIX GOLD M100 AMP WAS JUST STOLEN SO I NEED A NEW ONE. SO HERES THE DEAL I HAVE 3 JL 12W08'S IN A VENTED ENCLOSURE. I WAS LOOKIN AT US AMPS BUT IVE BEEN OUT OF THE SCENE FOR A WHILE, ARE THEY STILL ONE OF THE BETTER AMPS? I KNOW ALOT OF COMPANIES GOT BOUGHT OUT BY JAPANESE COMPANIES, AND I WAS CURIOUS DO YOU THINK THE A/B CLASS WOULD BREAK INTO A 2.66 OHM SAFELY (I.E- MERLIN MD22) OR IF I WOULD BE BETTER OFF WITH A CLASS D (MERLIN MD.1) OR I'M STILL OPEN ON OTHER SUGGESTIONS. |

Class D for subs  US AMPS are still good from what i hear how much power do you need and whats your budget on a amp? |

i only need about 500 at 2.66 ohm so around 600 at 2 ohm my budget is pretty open right now probly not more than 400 though |

Massive Audio has a P500.2, 500 rms @ 2 ohms, or DD has the MB2 that is 700 rms @ 2 ohms.
