I'm thinking about getting a Memphis 16-MCA300 amp to power the door speakers in my Explorer, but I don't like the lowest frequency for the high pass filter. The lowest frequency you can adjust it to is 400 Hz. A cheaper Memphis amp with the same output, the 16-PR300.2 can be set as low as 40 Hz.

Maybe I'm wrong, but wouldn't 400 Hz be really high for a HPF?

That amp can be set as low as 40hz also.

I think the X10 filter option is for bi-amping so you can set it a lot higher for the tweeters. X1 option is what you'd want for components and such. M.S. is always on the ball with this kinda sh!t lol
