I'm thinking of also getting two JL Audio 12W6v2's anyone ever heard these before? and what do you think? of course i'm gonna need a amplifier for the sub...my cd deck can power the 6x9's right? recommended power range for those 6x9's are 110 watts...a deck can give out 100 watts to each 6x9 right? thanks

the are ok at best.

for SQ look into 6.5 component sets. also your deck is not 50x4 like adverized it is only 17rmsx4 for any decent speakers you are going to need an amp to get great sound out of them.

none of those are that great either. phoenix gold RSD's are nice speakers and should be in your budget. i would find an amp that does 100rmsx2@4ohm for them you may want to look at directed amps. also teamssaudio.com sells a sundown 100.2 that is a very nice amp.
