Here's your cheapest amp choice with a good quality amp: http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-06-JBL-GTO1201-1-II-2-MONO-AMP-1200-WATT-PLEXI-TOP_W0QQi temZ290114291448QQihZ019QQcategoryZ64570QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem You'll need to have sub's coils wired in series and subs in parallel - if you're getting it professionally installed, be sure to tell the installer that...they may mess it up. The amp you get needs to be 2ohm stable. That JBL is probably your best bet. |

Definitely do not get an audiobahn or MA audio. Hifonics are ok, and that JBL would be good. |

Ok we're not starting another "audiobahn" thread, but they're absolutely NOT a terrible brand and I'd never say "definitely do not get." I've had my amp for 4 years and it's awesome. Isaac has personally tested their intake series amp and said it's a great deal for the money...the amp puts out the power and is decent quality. Anyway, go with that JBL b/c the audiobahn one's not the right match for the setup. |

No real need to get that used one when the newer models are pretty fairly priced as is. |

I only suggest it because it is also 1 ohm stable, non like the new ones that arent(future upgrades are easier) it does like 1300-1400rms at 1 and 2 ohm... |

I don't know about that amp being 1ohm stable... http://manuals.harman.com/JBL/CAR/Owner%27s%20Manual/bp_om.pdf There are new JBL models that are 2ohm stable and there're others that are 1ohm stable (i.e.: bpx1100.1 and bpx2200.1). |

look in the pdf you linked above.... it says lowest stable load 1 ohm* (* = gets the same power as 2ohm) look at the specs for the list of amps... looks like all the BP (mono blocks)series are 1ohm stable, 2 ohm optimized |
