But you've massive audio multichannel amp has only two imputs.
why are you using a 6xs along with the eqx. couldnt u adjust the chips in the EQX to set you crossover points and slopes.
cuz if your 6xs is feeding off a signal from the eqx, i would assume it would affect your useable bandwidth as it's already cross-overed.
I doubt that you're running the 6xs from the HU, which would suggest that the signal would escape equalization... |

he is using the 6xs because the 6xs has 1 input with 2 output for the front channel. which he can set with the module to do an active crossover. by doing that he is amping the tweeters and the mids separately. trust me it sounds really good using the 6xs over the xover that comes with the component set.
the eqx is there for the equalization. the eqx has a full range output so it will bi-pass the xover.
so it goes from the hu to the eqx. the the subwoofers would be connected to the sub out on the eqx and the speakers would be connected to the full range of the eqx. from there it would go to the 6xs and to the amps. |

silly me , i should have thought of that.
The 6xs is great though.
I've tried the ppi-frx456. It's very flexible and it avoids the stress of building or buying chips. But yet again, the quality of the Audiocontrol product is better by far.
So i've stuck with the 6xs

The 6xs actually has 1 input and 3 outputs for the front. You can do mid low, mid high, and tweeters. and then you have that rear output that you can use for w/e. |

its s4 and im running it bridged. about 150w maybe a lil more. im runnin it on a 4 ch. cuz im broke. 6$ an hour and i work 4 1/2 hours a week. im lookin at a sundown 1500d and an Fi BL but im not sure yet. i might do one of those pg octane zr's or somethin. its a ~1994 geo tracker so the alt's probably 55 amps or something. but yeah im broke so right now im just dreamin lol. gf's birthday's comin up too... lol
o yeah i have a panasonic cqc7103u for my headunit. and the box is one i built. its pretty big so i got some phone books in there but i think the vb was 4 cubes and its tuned to 27 hz with some pvc ports i flaired with a heatgun. they look like sh!t and theres a lil port noise but for the money its not bad. the rearview gets goin pretty good on the chopped n screwed version of late night tip. |
