I was just setting my gain and the power cap was on when I turned the car and music on the power cap was off, still off wtf going on wit it? Its a Power Acoustic 3.0 farad cap

They dont stay on all the time. The light that is, Leave the car off and put the lights on, it will come on counting down the volts. When current is stable, it shuts off.

I tried that, never came on. Even the digital voltage indicator didn't come on.

A cap is a cap is a cap. Aside from the size they are all the same except for the sticker on the back.
If you buy another cap you are paying for the sticker. That is all.
Power acoustik is just as good a cap as any other.
You will not have better performance with a massive audio cap.

But, if you don't want to listen and want to just keep going with different caps, I have 2 that I'll let go for cheap. One is a tsum=nami 5 farad and one is a PA 1.2 farad. $150 for both, say 170 shipped. But I don't advise the use of a cap without a HO alternator.

I don't advise the use of one at all..... unless you want to blow some money for something the looks cool. Then go for it
