just installed my new system(2 12''AQSD2.5s,RF p6002 amp, 3.74cf box tuned @ 38hz) and when i set the gain i kept the loudness off like your sopposed to. but now when my systems thumping, the front speakers sound kind of muffled because the loudness is not on. i still need to get new front speakers but how do i get rid of that muffled sound with out putting loudness on? would an EQ fix it? also what would be some good 4x6 coaxials for the front, running off my pioneer 3800 HU?(i took out my rear speakers because i couldnt ever hear them anyways + it lets more bass into the car) my budget is 100-150 for front speakers, and 100 for EQ if needed. if i got coaxials is there an EQ that has a small amp built in that will push them? would the EQ just be for the two speakers or would it control the 2 subs too? |

your speakers probly sound crappy because they are crap, and you dont have an amp on them. i would suggest buying new 6.5 components and an amp |
