I have an Avic N2 that always want to take the long way out of my neighborhood. It uses a state highway to get to the interstate, which I assume it believes is better because it is a state highway and not a local road. However, there is a local road that is four lane, divide, more direct, and with fewer lights that I always take.
Can I somehow tell the unit to use the second road instead of the first? Areas to Avoid seem to be too small to be effective here, and changing from fast to short route and back has no effect.
