Hey guys i just bought 2 alpine SWX-1042D 10" subs and im not sure what amps i need to get the best sound possible. I'm willing to pay whatever but would like to keep it low. Thanks for the help. |

id say about 500-750 range would be great(just because thats what i have at the moment). If i can't get a good sound for that price I'm willing to pay more, But I'm just trying to get ideas now so say whatever you guys think would be a good match for my subs. Btw I'm pretty new at this if you couldn't tell already! |

I'm looking at the Hifonics XX-Hercules but i am still a bit confused! I just wanna make sure, so if i do get the Hercules that will be enough to power my two subs? |

I have extra cash that i was going to buy a new radio for but i could get the charging system instead! Do you have any recommendations? And thanks to everyone that has helped, I appreciate it. |

what type of car do you have? whats the stock alt? chances are you are going to need a HO alt. I would stay clear of hifonics with your budget. You need something that does 2000 watts at 1 ohm. I will look into it a little for you and get back to you. |

Its actually a truck, Its a 99' dodge 2500 extended cab. I'm not sure but i think i have a 105 amp alt. I would like the price pretty low because i have other things to get but i can always wait. Thanks for the help James! |
