I am trying to find a relatively inexpensive 4 channel amplfier, but still something that will get the job done a little better than a headunit will. I found the Pioneer GM-4300F. Is this a decent amp?

Not sure on that amp but how much do you want to spend on a amp.

Well I found that amp for $100 shipped so somewhere around there would be great.

There all good but the kicker is the best out of those I listed. I hope this helps you out,

Diamond Audio D3400.4 about 160$ on ebay. Good audiophile quality and nice looking aesthetics.

looking for only about 40+ watts rms per channel. Instead of putting a headunit in i am going to put in an amp.

I never really heard about phoenix gold. Would it be a better amp than the pioneer? ALso it doesnt have speaker level inputs so where do I get the adaptor to convert to racas?

My 2 cents would be to upgrade the factory radio to a better aftermarket radio before you do anything else. Thats the best upgrade you can do. For amps I would use an Orion HP-4600 or the Kicker.

But I can get more power out of an amp rather than a new headunit and I dont need a new headunit the factory one is fine. Also if I take out the factory one I need to put in a $150 mounting kit to not lose the information center and I spend less putting a new amp in rather than a headunit and the mounting kit.

I see what you're saying. You want something louder and cleaner and you don't want to spend a lot? I would take that diamond audio that Grant suggested. The kicker and orion are also nice. If those are too expensive, I'd take the PG over the pioneer. HU upgrade is something you'd want to do soon though.

kicker is way under rated, if it says 40 rms its more like 55 my zx750 is rated supposed to be 750 at 2 ohms, certified 932rms at 2 ohms, love kicker amps, some of the best on the market ive seen
