I was going to buy 2 jl w6v2 in a sealed box and was wondering if i should buy 2 jl 500/1 amps or just buy one jl 1000/1 amp or is there any difference |

Two 500/1's will not flow more current.
They are good at doing very close to rated power. About 532w per 500. Very little rise between 1.5-4 ohms, unlike unregulated amps. |

Out of those two amps go with the JL 1000/1.
But to save money and get a badazz amp go with a Soundown SAZ1500D just keep the gain under control.http://www.sundownaudio.com/ |

...That sundown must be one h ell of an amp for it to go for $700.
I've seen more than a few JL 100/1's cheaper than that. |

And yes it is a BADAZZ amp. I'll take SAZ1500D over the JL Audio 1000/1 any day. |
