Hello everyone,
I am looking for the perfect amp to power one 15" alpine type R. My budget is around the $200 to $280 range. I know its very low and it might be hard to get something for that but im hoping maybe to grab a good deal on the internet. Please let me know what you think would power this sub perfectly for that price.

I was thinking wire it to 2 ohm to get the most powerr out of the amp although the whole thing truely does confuse me. Could i set up a dual 4 0hm type R to run at 2 or 1 ohm? |

i have been shopping around and there seems to be a few good amps that you can get for cheap. The main companies that i was looking at were.
Rockford Fosgate
JBL
hifonics
kenwood
kicker
These al seems like very reputable companies that seem to produce good amps. |

directed d2400 for $270 free ground.
wire that dual 4 ohm down to 2 ohms. If you upgrade the sub get a 1000-1200 rms dual 2 ohm sub and run it at one ohm.

DEI is a good amp. I say another perfect one for you is kicker zx750.1. 750W RMS into 2ohms. It's about $235 shipped on eBay. |
