k well i replaced the fuse my amp just blew (JL 500/1) and it was a 60 amp fuse same fuse same ratinga as my old one. but now my subs only stay at one volume and plus when theyre at low volume it sounds like static. any ideas on how to fix this or did i somehow f*uck my amp? :'( |

could be a wiring problem (bad ground, loose cable etc) otherwise, make sure the amplifier gains are set properly an not cranked all the way up if both of these check OK, your amp is damaged. |

yeah i had a problem like that on my first amp. and it turned out that 2 of the channels were fried... good luck |

k ill check the wiring and maybe use the other channel. if this doesnt work ill try using my old amp. hope i didnt fry my subs when this happened. ill post back later tonight or tomorrow to tell if i got it fixed. it might be a couple days ill have some pros take a look..... |

yeah no luck, checked all my wiring the place i bought it from will have a look for me and might replace it for free.  |
