Alright guys. This is my first system and I dont know much. I bought a 12" mtx sub off of a friend for 80 bucks in a nice box and everything. My cousin gave me an old school rockford fosgate punch 400aIV.

It says 50 X 4 watts RMS into 4 0hms.

100 x 4 watts rms into 2 ohms.

Here's the Question. If I put the amp on the sub, is all 400 watts gonna be on it, since it is not mono channel?

What coil configuration does the sub have? You'll need to find out if the amp's bridgable and if it is, you can bridge 2 channels to run the sub. But you will not be able to see full 400W from that amp into the sub.
