hey guys i am a little new to using a MM. can someone give me a brief idea how i can test is i have signal going IN and coming OUT of my amp?

heres my situation. 06 RX-8, kicker zx400.1, kappa perfect 12" dVQ, david navone 2 channel line converter.

i tapped into the inputs to the factory Bose amp i.e. out of the head unit with the line converter, and got nothing, so i tried tapping in AFTER the bose amp, nothing. i checked and rechecked everything. then i just took the LOC out, and used the high level inputs on the amp... from before and after the factory bose amp, still nothing.

far as i can tell the amp is powered right.. not going into SORT protect mode, grounded well etc...
