I recently installed a Kenwood amp rms at 4 ohms is 300 watts. Pushing a xplod at rms 325 at 4 ohms. The amp cuts off at high volumes and turns back on when volume is turned down. The amp turns completely off. There's only one light on the amp and it goes off. I tried using a different amp and still had the same problems. The amp is hooked up with a high input not rca's. PLEASE HELP! |

Thats nothing new to me I had a Kenwood KAC-8101D amp rated 200rms at 4ohms and 400rms at 2 ohms and my amp would keep cutting off but then I bought a fan and it never cut off again I think those class D amps from kenwood get hot fast |

Try the amp with different subs, the problem may be the speakers |

the problem would never be the speakers. the speakers perform because of the amp, not the other way around.by the way.sony sucks. return them and get a better sub trust me |
