hey guys!! i've just open an audio shop!! i wonder if you guys can show me the bypass codes for all of the brands!! (etc. Clarion, Alpine, Pioneer) so we don't have to do the switch!! i already knew the code for Dual, Jensen!! thanks much if you guys can help me out!!! take care! |

1. Press STOP twice on the remote
2. Enter: 26604 on remote
3. Press ENTER

will this work without a ground connected at all or does it need to be atleast hooked up to the parking brake because mine is not connected at all and does not work at all please let me know asap |

Are all the codes for the Dual brand the same? Apparently every can't come to a consensus on how to permanently unlock a Dual brand player. I have seen everyone talk about an 8181, but does anyone if the 26604 code works for a XDVD8183? I just got one and need a sure fire way to crack it open... |

HELPPPP!!!! I have a Dual 8181 and i tried to ground the parking brake wire to a screw and to the ground coming from the back of the unit... it worked both ways, but as soon as i put the car in gear the light say the parking brake is up stays on and starts beeping.... What am i doing wrong? |

Guys, My XDVD 700 that I just installed, has a flicker in the screen,,, I am assuming that this is a defectr? Could it be a lack or good enough ground? |

HERES HOW TO BYPASS ON THE VM9312.
The parking brake bypass procedure:
1. Go into AM/FM mode
2. Hit "setup" on the remote control
3. Enter 543210 on the remote, listening for the beep for each number entered
4. A new menu will appear. Touch the button that has the hammer/screwdriver on it in the upper left-hand part of the screen.
5. Select Brake bypass to "ON" and hit the "X" near the bottom of the screen. |

This worked for me with every Jensen in dash DVD player I Installed so far:
JENSEN PARKING BRAKE BYPASS VM9311 , 9411, 9511TS , 9021T2
The code is a permanent way of disabling the brake override on the Jensen units.
How to by-pass video on Jensen in dash dvd units
First Insert the DVD
After the disc loads and plays you will see a blue screen telling you "it is unlawful to view video while driving”
1)Activate the brake sequence and disable the blue screen using the hand brake, the switch method or anything else to give the unit its three pulses to disable that blue screen.
2) Next, on the main remote press stop twice, then 1, 2, 6, 4.
You will now see a hidden menu that says:
Region Code
Brake Override
Macrovision (Watch all the burned and pirated movies you want if this option is off)
Loader Version
Model Version
3) Using the right joystick on the unit, navigate to the options of your choice, click on them to toggle on, off or which region code you want.
This is what you want:
Region Code: 1
Brake Override ON
Macrovision: OFF
When your done, click SYS SETUP on the main remote TWICE to save the settings and that’s it your done!
The other way of doing this is by not engaging the parking brake sequence, so you're inputting the code with out seeing it this is the moron way to do it because you cant see the options but the same instructions apply
Please use caution this code is being sold for store displays or show use only not responsible for misuse or use while driving . check local laws before bypassing parking brakes
Jensen 9312 by pass code!
