My friend has pioneer cd player and he also has 2 Kicker L7's with hifonics amps and even when he isn't playing music the subs are beating somewhat and it creates alot of noise. We unhooked everything and located the source of the problem to probably be a bad cd player. I was just wondering if a short inside the cd player could cause such noise to only go through the subs or whether there could be some other problem. Thanks for all the help. |

does it sound like a fuzzy radio station or just random notes coming from the sw?
i do beleive that the rca cables can pick up static and there are devices to filter it out |
