Am looking for high end 6.5" component speakers, but need recommendations on what brand to buy. I was looking at Focal (165K) and Diamond Audio Hex (S600). I read the Focals don't emphasize the lows too good and I read a good review on the Diamonds. I listen to rock, mostly, and like to be able to hear the lows, mids & highs clearly and very defined. Can anybody recommend any other brands or give me feedback from the above brands? |

Try Morel and Dynaudio. If you want something cheaper, try MB Quart or Infinity Kappa (Car) speakers. |

I would get Focal's with an accurate, not boomy sub. IMO, components are meant to be used with good subs. |

I've used Boston Acoustics Pro Series 6.5 components and loved them. They are a very smooth and even set. |
