So i wrote off my truck the other day smashing a pole and i would like to get my head unit out.

IM sorry i am an idiot. But how do i get teh Headunit outta teh vechile ?

i got the front panel off and everything just trying to pull out the head unit. umm just nto sure how to pull it out so i dont mess anything up, as i would like to put in my next vechile as i am not made of money. thank you

if its an aftermarket head then you should have keys (two little metal sticks) that you stick in slots on both sides of the head and pull to remove it. once you get it that far just diconnect the wiring harness(white thing in the middle of the wires) and pull it all out

oh ok. thanks jonathan. looked in teh box and found those 2 keys. it all makes sense now.
