What is better between a 1 ohm 1000 watt sub or a 2 ohm 1000 watt sub such offered by fi car audio??

wiring configuration is the difference. Performance is the same.

However, in amps is not the same, cuz at lower impedances, efficiency decreases.

Run a Dual 1 ohm and a kicker zx 1000.1

IMO.

Keep in mind though that you MUST wire the coils in SERIES to get a 2ohm load because that kicker amps is 2ohm stable. So you'll need to get the dual 1ohm VC. If you get another amp (i.e.: kicker sx series), which is 1 ohm stable, you can get the dual 2ohm VC and wire them in PARALLEL down to 1ohm.
