ok well im new to this website and i know a lil bit of systems and all that..just some though....ok well right now im thinking of getting 2 alpine type r's 15"[4 ohm] there both rated at 750 rms and a soundstream amp 1800.2 the amp its rated to 800 rms at 2 ohms..would that be a good setup?...and the box im thinking of having it ported....my budget is around the $1000 mark...if anybody has anybody has experience with these plz let me kno if they bang...or if somebody has in a mind of a better set up for around $1000 than plz let me kno.... |

im looking for bass pretty much...i wanted to stick with kicker cuz i already have kicker speakers inside there ks-68 i think....there 5*7's and its four of em plus 2 tweeters that i have so i already have good voice...im just looking for some hard hitting bass |

What is the goal of the system? what vehicle? Don't forget wire and electrical upgrades if required (depends on vehicle). I'm sure by the end of this thread we can figure out *exactly* what will work for ya =) |

sry I meant hatch or trunk in the second post... se is trunk correct? what do you define as "really good" bass? As loud as possible, as clear and well defined as possible? Essentially how perfect do you want it to sound, and how loud do you want it to get. |

yea it has a trunk and i kinda want more loudness but also that could sound clear...kinda with a combination of both...i guess loud enough to be heard 2 or 3 blocks away |
