So, I have a 91 ford escort. The previous owner basically ripped out all the existing stereo wires so i have to start completely from scratch (constant straight to battery, speakers, ground to body, etc). Does anyone know where the easiest connection would be for the switched and the illumination wires would be? Also, if anyone has step-by-step directions to wire a simple in-dash 60 watt cd player, that would be great. Thanks. |

This is original wiring from your car,you just match the wires from your new head unit to that schema that is all about!

Thanks for the zip. Unfortunately, I couldn't open the file. Also, the car doesn't have the original wiring> It's literally a mess with all sorts of wires tangled, disconnected and pieced together. |
