Well before i had audibahn a8002t rated ta 800 rms... i have 2 rockford p3s in a 4.3 cubic slot ported box... i hit 119.5 db max on my spl meter... so i hook this brutus up its rated at 1200 rms, and of course thats gonna be true cuz its hifonics... well the bass is more clear... but i only hit 120 maybe a lil more at the dash... does this seem rite? i mean 140$ more for .5 db? does this seem rite please give me your comments. |

Phase set at 0 or 180. what ever makes the sub move out when it hits is the right phase, Unless your sub is inverted, then you want it reversed. Subsonic on. It cuts all useless freqs from playing. And your amp choice. Still in the entry playground. Step up to the minors. |

It all depends. Look at the sub. Is it moving in or out when it hits? If it moves out, the switch is set. If it moves in, put it in the other position. Its like changeing the + and - speaker wire to the sub, with a switch, not by rewiring. |

Pioneer Premier 3000Spl = inexpensive but good. I have two and very pleased. Over 140 SPL on Epic-160 meter under the dash in passenger side. Cheaper than L7 but just as good in my opinion. Both are good SPL. You will be pleased either way. JMO |

Oh yeah, Even though neither is SQ sub, the Pioneer Premiers have a little better SQ than L7 in my opinion. JMO |

I hit 145 SPL to be exact playing Ludacris-"War with god" with subs & port facing back without back seat taken out. Back seat don't fold down. I plan to unbolt it see what I can do to get it to fold down. |

are the p3's dvc 4's? the 8002 needs a 4 ohm load - did you change your wiring [correctly] to get a 1 ohm load on the HF? |

I have the same amp with 2 12 CVR and Im very happy with the amp.I know it will not do 1200 more like 1000 but the amp is a very good budget amp, Get someone who knows how to set the amp up you might change your mind. |
