I found a website that told me how to retrieve my serial number, http://www.radio-code.com/, and found out how to retrieve the serial number. Then I called Honda at 1-800-999-1009, gave them my name, vin#, and serial # and they gave me the code in less than 2 minutes. I hope that helps. |

anyone can help find my radio unlock code, since I changed my battery I lost my CD player, lockout to play any CD music. Here what I got U1113 L1829 when I pressed 1&6 button at same time. is this good enough to be able to get radio code, or I have to take out the whole radio system to find the serial#?

Ok, i sent money to http://www.radio-code.com/ and it came back invalid number please send more info , pictures etc.
so I sent more numbers like part number and ref. number and its been over 24hrs and no reply .... not a very speedy service and not very happy with them. anyone else ever have to reply twice to these guys ? do I reply to there email they sent or do i have to pay 32.00 for each try ?

Trent, I didn't pay anything for the unlock code. I simply used their website to learn how to get my serial number. Then I called Honda at 1-800-999-1009 and gave them my name, the serial number and my car's vin and they gave me the code, free of charge. Don't pay for a code when you can get it free of charge. |

Ok, so I came on here to find help to get my code. I figured it out by myself and posted how to do it very easily. Luckily I used an email address I check about once every 2 months because this website sends emails every time someone posts on this board. What I want to say is would you lazy people stop giving your serial, VIN# and all that and just DO IT YOURSELF! No one is coming to this board to look up your stereo code for you! I'm not trying to be nasty, but come on!
So one more time, this is how I did it:
I called my local Honda dealership with the serial number for my radio and they looked up the code for free.
You can also call 1-800-999-1009 with the serial number for your radio and your car VIN # and they will look up the code for free once you prove you are the owner of the car.
To find the serial number of your radio, turn your car onto the I or II position so the engine isn't running. Press the 1 and 6 numbers at the same time and turn on the radio while pressing these buttons. This will give you the serial number for your radio in two parts. Write it down and make some calls... |

my car did the same thing you enter the code and then you wait look in the manual if you do it wrong three times you have to wait a couple of hours before you enter it again
radio code 52421
memory one press 5 times
memory two press 2 times
memory tree press 4 times
memory four press 2 times
memory five press 1 times
now press the am/fm button or radio will turn on by now
Use your own radio code good luck. Try it in manual.

Method 1 (all applicable models except ’03–07 Accords with the navigation system) 1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II). 2. Turn on the audio unit, and make sure you see COdE in the display. If you don’t see this message, pull the backup fuse for 1 minute, and then go back to step 1. 3. Turn off the audio unit. 4. Press and hold the 1 and 6 preset buttons, then turn on the audio unit. The display toggles between two screens. The first screen displays a U and the first four digits of the serial number (for example, U2200). The second screen displays an L and the last four digits of the serial number (for example, L0055). Ignore the U and L, and write down all eight digits. Method 2 (’03–07 Accords with the navigation system) 1. Turn the ignition switch to ACC (I). 2. Turn on the audio unit, and make sure you see COdE in the upper display. If you don’t see this message, pull the backup fuse for 1 minute, and then go back to step 1. 3. Turn off the audio unit. 4. Press and hold the top halves of the SEEK/SKIP and CH/DISC bars, and then press and release the PWR/VOL knob. This display toggles between two screens. The first screen displays a U and the first four digits of the serial number (for example, U2200). The second screen displays an L and the last four digits of the serial number (for example, L0055). Ignore the U and L, and write down all eight digits. 5. Call Honda Dealer for Radio Code. 6. Use the TUNE knob to enter the first four digits of the anti-theft code into the audio unit. (Ignore the last digit; it’s not used.) When you turn the TUNE knob, COdE disappears, and a single digit is displayed. Turn the knob left or right to select each of the anti-theft code digits. When you press the TUNE knob, the system beeps and accepts each digit as it spells out CODE on the display. |

Hello Klas,
I have similar scenario, I use a 2004 Honda accord, actually had the code and used it a couple of times, but now can find it. Now i am riding around in a silent cabin, except of course when one of my usual passengers attempts to sing. In order to avoid this horrific experience I need, as a matter of urgency to get this code!

Ok I found a site that will give you the code. It is honda's site you just need to know the vin# and phone# and zip code that honda has on file with that vin# and the Serial# for your radio. And it gives it to you right on the site. thanks everyone
