How accurate is an Audiocontrols EPIC-160 for reading SPL? Does anyone know?

IDK. The mic is built into the unit so there is no way to reposition it. I would guess that it is +/- 3-5db's. Really, its only sensible use is if you build a new box, reposition your subs, get new subs, ect., you will be able to tell if its louder and rougly how much louder. Its definitely more for show/comsumer appeal then for a realworld application.

I wasn't assuming it was a competition legal score, I just wanted to know if it read SPL accurately.
