i went to a store the other day looking to get a 12 inch image dynamic idmax and an 1100 memphis d amp. I asked him if i needed a fan for the amp because it is going into a small closed compartment and he said no because these amps are so good they do not get hot. Then he said i do not need a new alternator or anything like a capcitor or anything because this memphis 1100d amp is so powerful and well built. Is this all true or should i look somewhere else? |

well what kind of car do u have, bc i have a250 rms speaker amp and a 1200 rms sub amp and im not usin a cap or new alt.. |

that memphis will only pull about 70 amps, so stock should be ok. |

if ur lookin to run your system with car off tho i would recommend a kinetik HC1400 |

ohh well congrats man, u like it? i know its a premium sound system but exactly what speakers are they ? i think dodge uses infinity? |

nope, im guessing your jsut into SQ you dont want anything that gets super loud, just add more bass to daily driving? well i suggest you get a JL W6 and JL 500/1 to go with it and you will be in excellent shape very good sounding setup. if you can wire it up yourself and dont need to buy locally i suggest a Fi SSd and run a good 800 rms amp. good luck |
